ABOUT

Smoking Gun is a solo, western-type shoot em up arcade game which is reminiscent of something that had been created twenty years earlier but with a contemporary finish. It feels as a homage throwback to some old school 90s arcade games, so if you’re into skill based games that where you have to use your peripherals eye to aim, then this is perfect.

The plot puts you to Red Rock Valley with the filthy Red Rock Raiders gang hard at work scheming for a payback. In this wild west game Hickstown is in deep shit, and the only one who can come to the rescue is you – the legendary Arizona Ranger with your faithful iron. But I wouldn’t kid you – it’s not very bright, there is plenty of darkness this side I’m telling you about. You may also interested in this game Amanda the Adventurer 2.

So while cruising down this valley, you will be picking up everything that will help you survive, including the golden, ammo, and many power-ups. By fighting as much as possible, the more you unlock along the way—what’s with the guns, that are upgraded if the player plans on surviving the onslaught of ruthless outlaws. Also, it remains hard as the old games, and there are very few progression saves allowed. Well yes it’s hardcore but that is why it is fun, isn’t it?

In Smoking Gun, not only are you shooting scumbags, or standard evil doers – you’ll be facing some of the most bizarre bosses as well. Throw in gorgeous western environments running on Unreal Engine 5 and a solid western soundtrack, and you’ve got yourself an arcade shooter.
