The developers paid special attention to the combat system, and it’s worth noting for good reason. Indeed, there is a lot of fighting here, so be ready for a new battle every minute. You can not only take part in battles, but also upgrade your colonists, giving them weapons, equipment and everything they need. Get new resources and create equipment from them, research weapons production, study your settlers and send only those who have at least some bonuses in the war to fight.
