ABOUT

It is a passageway games an independent game development company that was established in 2014 in Abilene, Texas by Jon Grierson and John Hendrick. All those are in their seventies now but remain active and was friends since they formed a team while working on a medical device project about three decades back. Grierson, having completed fifty years of RPG gaming, thought it was about time to get back into game development and design. Thus, super cute decided to appear as a team and designed a special thing – Passageway of the Ancients.

In this game you are a hero diving into the remaining magic in the universe, the planet of Aieryon. You are going to be visiting the city of Ithgar where you solve a big crime at the same time as having to deal with death. Everything in the game, from the main character to the monsters that you will be fighting when going through different levels, you will be gathering clues and leveling up everything around the place. Moreover, you are going to have to pick locks, and solve Runic puzzles in order to gain some of the sweet, sweet loots.

Battle is not a joke here: they are serious; challenging; and they do not let their strategies be predicted easily. In Passageway of the Ancients the actual combat system is turn base and real time with elements of weapons and battle tactics gaining their concept from the ancient world. You’ll have two personas to juggle: A secret race known as the ‘Dragonkindt’ and thus as an alternative avatar of your choice you can be a Dwarf, Elf, or a Human.
