Welcome to the rather raw and colorful scenery of post-revolutionary Mexico City: Mexico, 1921: A Deep Slumber. This game puts you to the year 1921, immediately after a tumultuous period of the political struggle. The president who plays the organizational role of Álvaro Obregón in the revolution is guiding the country to a new period full of expectations for the education and human rights. Thus Obregón’s assassination means that the country is thrown back into confusion again once more.

The game narratively revolves around Juan Aguirre, a young photojournalist who becomes booted and gearing into Mexico’s revolution. Travel through the world comprised of large surrealistic structures, interact with the politicians, and rely on the camera to reveal what freedom experienced in that period meant. When walking through Mexico City and seeing the Zócalo and the National Palace or climbing Popocatépetl with Dr. Atl you will see this country in a completely different way.
