Okay so CAPTURED is this wild analog horror game where you have to, uh, chase these bizarre things found around the house just to take a picture of them then run away from an infinitely stretching hallway that is presumably your home. It is just about solving mystery cases of strange happenings while dealing with some of the most menacing creatures out there in the real ghost hunting. Your goal? Get out of that endless cycle!

In this game you will be navigating a space Nope hallway which is procedurally generated and contains a lot of rather spooky events and rooms that are morphology shifts. Consider a situation when you get up and start walking outside, but each time you only find yourself in the same eerie corridor. They go to bed and each time one enters a room it seems to be a different and quite unsettling, as you’d expect from a horror. You may also interested in this game Passageway of the Ancients.

To escape this kind of a cycle you have to exercise those memory muscles exaggerating it a little. In one task you use your camera to zoom in on specific areas you suspect and then you have to figure out the type of abnormality it is. If you missed something, or got a wrong answer, the camera memory just blinks, and that is very annoying. You have to get 13 anomalies right before you can get out at last.

But be careful! Any time, you stay in one place for long the monsters around will know where to find you. It’s time to be smart and use the flashlight and the camera having attention for the doors at the same time. That graphics and the interface are intentionally retro and minimalistic to perfectly capture the atmosphere of the late nineties – if you grew up on that, the game will feel incredibly immersive and atmospheric, and rather spooky. Prepare yourself for simplistic platforming, some intense feelings of solitude, and a rather eerie environment all the while you get stuck in this endless cycle!
