ABOUT

In 2009 there were two girls, residents of Turkey in Apartment No. 129 who allegedly engaged in the rituals of devil using candles at night. The residents said there was a violent earthquake that broke windows and knocked furniture over; however, there was no earthquake in that region on that day. One by one the girls died a very bad death and shortly afterwards people started to flee the building. The building manager slammed shut the doors and left, and for quite some time, no one was able to open it.

Some who later went to the building talk of experiencing fear, bestial smell, broken glasses and symbols/writing on the walls. Some of the respondents noted that they had personally seen entity. The main character, Emir, who creates social media content related to mysterious topics, goes to the abandoned building. When he finally logs into Apartment No 129, the ambience fills him with apprehension to lose his spirits and depictions of the past catastrophe are observed. Although Emir is a hopeless skeptic regarding the paranormal, the film isn’t only his search for the truth in the building’s past, but rather a change in his mentality regarding the supernatural after he endures terrifying trials.
